Clearing the room!

Wow, you know you are unpopular when.....you go to a dinner dance, start out at one table, watch everyone leave right after eating, join another table and watch them all leave as well. But the humiliation doesn't end there....they all leave their 50/50 draw tickets with me so I am sitting at a big round table, all by myself, with 300 50/50 tickets which I can't leave, a fake smile plastered to my face, watching the 2 girls on the dance floor dancing to the 5 piece band. Ugggghhhh! And, to top it off, I don't have the winning ticket. Humph. At least with a partner I would have someone to share in my discomfort. Maybe next weekend will be better!

single!

Single life is really good most of the time but sometimes it sucks. Like the end of a long 11 hour day at work when it would be nice for someone to be there to pamper me a bit...pick out a tv show, feed me, rub my feet. Sigh. Especially after 2 nights, Friday and Saturday, of staying at home. Oh well. It's better to have some sad nights then put up with nonsence like having to watch sports or stupid action shows. At least I can relax, listen to jazz and read a good book. So really, is it so bad not to have my feet rubbed? I can rub my own damn feet!!!
