HIKE!!!!!

OMG, I hiked today!!! Yippie!!! Yay!!!!! After 16 weeks of not hiking due to first cold and then stupid broken toe it felt amazing to get out there. Thought I was going to have a heart attack and probably took an extra 20 minutes (normally takes a little less than an hour) but I did it. Toe doesn't even feel horribly bad. I'm soooo happy. Didn't even mind the bit of rain and at the end of my hike God parted the clouds and a ray of sunshine landed on me. I said "Thank you Jesus" and Myrna, who had slowed her pace to a slow crawl and stuck by my side said "Jesus?!! You're thanking Jesus?!!! Who was it that stuck by your side? How about thanking me?!!" Opps......ok....sorry Jesus but I will have to give the thanks to Myrna. My faithful friend, Myrna who doesn't mind caring for the handicapped. Sigh. Well, I have a very exciting day planned....doing nothing and then watching Saffie's kid play hockey in Penticton. Look out world, here I come!!!!
